Five-star Monteverde Academy forward Isaiah Todd announced earlier this week that he would be in Stillwater for OSU's game against Kansas this weekend. That is huge news for Mike Boynton and the Pokes, Todd is the kind of player that has the the ability to transform any recruiting class. There is an outside shot that the 6-foot-10 forward could reclassify to 2019, but he will likely stay in 2020 https://www.mwoutletshop.com/Christian_Boivin_Jersey-119. OSU has two scholarships left available for its 2019 class, so we'll look at the latest offers and how that pertains to the possibility of Todd's reclassification.Tajzmel Sherman, Shooting GuardThe JUCO route might be the best option for the last remaining spots in 2019. Sherman brings a level of experience that high school kids don't have: he's averaged 15.0 PPG for Collin College this season, shooting better than 40 percent from three and nearly 50 percent from the field. The 6-4 guard was overlooked coming out of Marshall High School near Houston because he had to share the ball with John Walker III and Jabari Rice, who went to Texas AM and New Mexico State respectively. His Marshall Buffaloes defeated Avery Anderson's Northwest Texans two years ago to advance to state. Sherman had 25 points on 10-for-16 shooting in that game. He's an athletic guard who has the length to defend forwards and is a natural scorer.Sherman has started picking up significant steam on the recruiting trail, with offers from Utah, West Virginia and SMU. West Virginia is reportedly pursuing him hard.Sean McNeil, Shooting GuardAnother shooting guard, another JUCO product. McNeil hails from Kentucky and is a microwave shooter. He's averaging over 30 PPG and is shooting the ball at a blistering rate at better than 42 percent from three. His shooting ability has led to offers from Missouri, West Virginia, Texas Tech, Arkansas and others. He set a Sinclair college record by scoring 55 points in a game earlier this season. Julius Marble, Power ForwardHailing from Marcus Smart's YGC36 AAU program, Marble has received significant interest from OSU in the past few weeks. He is No. 333 in the nation according to 247sports and doesn't register in their composite rankings, but he has picked up steam throughout his senior year. The 6-8 forward holds offers from Illinois and Boston College in addition to heavy interest from Oklahoma State and Michigan State. He will be visiting Michigan State this weekend. His recruitment definitely has the feel that it will come down to OSU and MSU. Marble said that he is planning on visiting OSU sometime in the future as well.Marble averaged 16 PPG for Jesuit this year and helped lead them to the third round of the playoffs before losing to Tyrese Maxey and South Garland https://www.mwoutletshop.com/Keshaun_Harris_Jersey-144. Because his hudl is pretty thin on highlights, I'll use this as an excuse to throw in Ibifiri Jamabo's video edit from Jesuit's game against South Garland from last Tuesday. Marble has several nice highlights in here, especially from the fourth quarter. He wears No. 34 Manny Obaseki, Combo GuardA small aside, all of the players mentioned above are in the class of 2019, where OSU has two spots left. Obaseki is one of the first to receive an offer from OSU for the class of 2021. Obaseki is a 6-2 guard whose only other offers are from SMU and McNeese State. But again, he just finished his sophomore season and that list will inevitably grow. This is an offer to keep an eye on even though there is a lot left to be decided with his recruitment. It's good that Boynton got an offer out for him early, which could help in his recruitment. Here are some highlights where Obaseki shows off a range of skills including shot blocking and outside shooting. And just because I can, here is Ibifiri's game edit from Obaseki's Allen Eagles taking on Marble's Jesuit Rangers Braiden McGregor Jersey. Adding any of these guys before Isaiah Todd makes a decision on reclassification likely rules the Pokes out for adding him in 2019. While Todd will likely remain in 2020, that is something important to watch as it pertains to how Mike Boynton fills his last few roster spots for this class. Any three of the 2019 guys listed above would be a great addition to this class and landing Todd in 2020 would be monumental for OSU.
